Do Something Together You'll Never Forget.

A couples boudoir session at Fox and Vixen.
Intimate, bold, and guided from start to finish.

At some point every couple talks about doing something like this. Bold. A little outside the usual. Something that's just for the two of you.

Most never do it.

The ones who do say the same thing: it was easier than we expected, more fun than we anticipated, and the images are unlike anything else we have.

All couples are welcome here. Every age, every body, every relationship. Straight couples, same-sex couples, couples celebrating decades together, couples marking something new. The session is built around the two of you specifically, and the consultation is where we figure out what that looks like.

Why Couples Book

There's rarely one single reason.

Some couples are marking something. An anniversary, a milestone birthday, a chapter of life they worked hard to reach. Others want to put something deliberate and memorable back into a relationship that's been running on routine. Some want images that reflect how they actually feel about each other, not just how they looked at a wedding years ago.

Some couples book because one of them has always wanted to and the other finally said yes. That's a perfectly good reason too.

What they share is this: they wanted to do something together that was specifically theirs. Not a vacation photo or a family portrait. Something made for the two of them, on purpose.

What a Fox and Vixen Couples Session Actually Looks Like

It starts with a consultation call — free, no obligation, and the place where you ask every question you have before deciding anything. How the day works, what to bring, what to expect. You'll know exactly what you're getting into before you commit to anything.

On session day, you arrive and your partner (or both of you) spends about an hour with our makeup artist. While that's happening, Mike and Angi go through your wardrobe together and build out the plan for the shoot. Then you shoot. Two to two and a half hours, five to six looks, every pose directed. Neither of you is left standing in front of a camera wondering what to do with yourselves. That's our job.

The first few minutes feel a little strange for almost every couple. That's normal. It doesn't last. Liz described it from the other side: "Mike and Angi walked us through every step of the process with such professionalism. Seeing the final portraits gave me a newfound confidence I didn't know I had."

One to two weeks later, you come back together for your ordering appointment. Mike plays a full slideshow of your retouched portraits set to music. Most couples sit quietly for the first few minutes. Then one of them says something. That moment is what the whole thing is for.

Who You're Working With

We're Mike and Angi Fox. We've been photographing couples and individual sessions out of our studio in Pearland since 2012. We've been married 35 years.

That last part changes how a couples session feels in the room. We understand what genuine connection between two people looks like, and we know how to photograph it. Mike handles the technical direction and lighting. Angi works with you on wardrobe, posing, and keeping the energy right throughout the day.

You're not working with a stranger. You're working with a couple who has done this a long time and knows exactly what they're doing.

Your Connection, Perfectly Captured

Every couples session is photographed with the same goal: to create images that show the two of you as you actually are together.

What Couples Say Afterward

"I've wanted to do this for years but was always critical of my body after having children. This experience made me realize I am a valiant woman, and there's so much beauty in that. Mike and Angi walked us through every step of the process with such professionalism. Seeing the final portraits gave me a newfound confidence I didn't know I had." — Liz

"This experience gave me a level of confidence and freedom I haven't felt in years. As a disabled veteran and proud mother and grandmother, I've learned that age is not a definer of beauty. Doing this session with my wife during Pride Month made it even more meaningful. I felt like a model, baring it all for the cameras with pride and joy." — Sabrina

Questions Couples Ask Before Booking

Q: Is this actually for us? If you've been thinking about it, it probably is. Couples sessions work for all kinds of relationships: all ages, all body types, all orientations. The consultation is where we figure out whether the timing and format make sense for where you are right now.

Q: Will it feel awkward? For the first few minutes, yes, probably. That's completely normal and it doesn't last. Mike and Angi direct every pose, so neither of you is left wondering what to do. Most couples say the self-consciousness was gone within the first 20 minutes.

Q: Does the session fee cover makeup for both of us? Yes. Professional makeup is available for one or both partners, included in the $399 session fee. Hair styling is not included. Arrive with your hair done.

Q: How much does a couples session cost? The session fee is $399, due at booking. Products — albums, wall art, and digital collections — are purchased separately at your ordering appointment after you've seen your images. Collections start at $1,600. Payment plans are available.

Q: How much skin do we have to show? As much or as little as you both want. Some couples keep it mostly covered throughout. Others go further as the session progresses and comfort builds. You set the level together, and nothing happens without both of you agreeing to it.

Q: Will our photos be shared publicly? Never without your written permission. Your images are entirely yours. If you later choose to release select images, you control exactly what's eligible.

Q: Can we keep this a surprise for our partner? Yes. Reach out through the contact form or give us a call and we'll work through the logistics with you.

Q: What should we bring? Wardrobe guidance goes out after booking as part of the prep sequence. The consultation is the right place to ask specifics before you start shopping.
