Our Philosophy
We started Fox & Vixen because we believed everyone deserves to see themselves as art.
Not just brides or models. Not just the people society tells us are “camera ready.”
Every body. Every story. Every season of life.
When we looked around the boudoir world, most of what we saw was built for younger women—especially brides—and that left a lot of people out. We wanted to change that. We wanted women in their forties, fifties, and beyond to know that their stories are worth celebrating, and we wanted men and couples to have a space where intimacy and artistry could coexist without judgment. We’ve also always welcomed younger women who want their first boudoir experience to feel empowering, professional, and personal—a place where they’re seen as more than just a pose, and where the goal is always confidence, not comparison.
So Fox & Vixen was born out of a simple belief: confidence doesn’t come from fitting a mold. It comes from finally seeing yourself clearly—and realizing you were beautiful all along.
Our work blends emotional connection with fine-art craftsmanship—images created with intention, care, and the kind of artistry that never goes out of style. We believe portraits deserve to exist beyond the screen, which is why we offer high-end printed artwork, from albums to wall art, designed to feel timeless and personal. While not everyone chooses to display their boudoir portraits in their home, we want every client to see their images as fine art—worthy of being experienced, held, and remembered.

Meet the Team
Mike and Angi
We’re Mike and Angi Fox—the husband-and-wife team behind Fox & Vixen Boudoir.
After more than 35 years of marriage and more than 10 years working together to create beautiful images, we’ve photographed hundreds of clients and refined a process that balances artistry, professionalism, and care. We’ve learned that the best images happen when our clients trust us. That trust doesn’t just appear in front of the camera—it starts with how we communicate from the very first contact and continues through every step of the process.
Clients often tell us that working with a married couple feels different. It’s relaxed. It’s genuine. There’s no pressure to perform or to be anyone other than yourself. Working with us feels more like spending time with friends who happen to have cameras. We laugh a lot, we listen, and we guide you every step of the way so you can relax and just be yourself.
Angi brings warmth, encouragement, and the kind of energy that feels like having your new best friend and biggest cheerleader in the room. Mike brings the calm focus and technical precision that shape light, form, and emotion into artwork you’ll be proud to call your own.
We’re both in our late fifties, so when we talk about confidence, aging, and self-image, we’re not speaking theoretically. We understand what it feels like to change and to still want to feel desirable, strong, and seen. That’s why we take this work personally. Every person who steps into our studio deserves to feel beautiful, respected, and celebrated.
Amanda
Amanda is both our principal makeup artist and the creative force behind our social media presence. She helps clients begin their session feeling confident and cared for, and she brings that same warmth to every story we share online. Her artistry and eye for detail set the tone for the day—from the first brush stroke to the final look.
Tabitha
Tabitha, our adult daughter, often helps behind the scenes—assisting during sessions, helping us cull and organize images, and supporting projects like our St. Martin retreat and exhibitions. Her help behind the scenes brings an extra layer of care to what we do.
Our Values and Promises
Privacy and Consent: Your comfort comes first. You always have complete control over what you wear—or don’t wear—and every pose or concept we create is guided by your comfort level. Your images are yours alone, and we only share them with your explicit permission. Because our Over 40 & Fabulous project is about the public celebration of women over 40, part of participating in that project includes granting us permission to share one image—but you always choose the image yourself.
Inclusivity: We welcome adults of every age, body type, identity, and story—because everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin.
Respect: Every session is guided with care, encouragement, and genuine professionalism.
Artistry: Every image is shaped with care and intention—light, form, and emotion working together to create striking, timeless portraits.
