Rediscovering Strength and Confidence: Ms. S's Story
Coming Back Stronger
When Ms. S first joined the Over 40 and Fabulous project, she left the experience with a newfound boost of confidence. That spark stayed with her—and over the past few years, a lot has changed. She knew it was time to return and celebrate the woman she’s become.
“I really enjoyed it the first time,” she shared. “So much has changed in my life and I would love the opportunity to do it again.” Her willingness to honor her evolution speaks volumes about her strength and self-awareness.
A Leap Toward Self-Appreciation
What brought her back was more than just nostalgia. Ms. S—Sharona—is a 45-year-old mother of six, including two beautiful angel babies, and a passionate small business owner. She's walked through highs and lows with determination and grace. This session was her time to pause and acknowledge that journey.
“I feel like I have changed so much over the past 3 years that I knew I wanted to do it again,” she said. It wasn’t just about the images—it was about standing tall in the story she’s written for herself.
Comfort in the Spotlight
Though she doesn’t consider herself photogenic, she felt completely at ease in front of the camera. “I like how comfortable it is to take photos,” she said. “I'm not very photogenic or creative so it is very appreciated to have such a comfortable atmosphere to bring out some good images.”
The session gave her the space to relax, trust the process, and let her true self shine through. And when she saw the final photos, she admitted, “Both times I have been amazed at the beauty in them.”
More Than Just a Photo Shoot
For Ms. S, this wasn’t just about capturing pretty pictures. It was about reclaiming her confidence and owning her narrative. “I do feel a bit more confident,” she reflected. “I love sharing my pics.” Seeing herself through this lens helped reinforce her own self-worth—and it’s something she’ll carry with her long after the session.
Now, she encourages others to step in front of the camera too: “Go for it. You won't regret it. The pictures turn out amazing.”
Thank you, Ms. S, for showing us what it means to embrace growth, honor resilience, and rediscover your spark. Your story reminds other women that it’s never too late to celebrate who you are—and that confidence only grows as we do.
