Fabulous at 44: Ms. N’s Moment of Self-Love
A Gift to Herself
Before joining the Over 40 and Fabulous project, Ms. N had been busy balancing a full life—career, marriage, and motherhood. At 44, she’s a Senior CIH Safety Engineer, a wife to an amazing woman, and a proud mom of three. Her days are packed with work and cheering on her daughter’s traveling softball team.
But deep within, she had a desire to do something just for herself. “I wanted to do this for me! Something that I look back on and see my beauty, inside and out,” she shared. More than anything, she wanted to embrace and celebrate the woman she has become—a fierce, confident goddess, as she puts it.
Breaking Past the Hesitation
Despite the desire, Ms. N had hesitated to book a boudoir session before. Like many, she had worries about how it would feel to be in front of the camera, to be that vulnerable and seen. But when the opportunity arose, she went for it without looking back.
“Like Nike, JUST DO IT!” she now advises other women over 40. “You'll love you more for it! You'll never see yourself more beautiful (maybe besides your wedding) than this!”
Feeling Like a Goddess
The shoot itself was everything she hoped—and more. From the moment she arrived, she felt safe, seen, and celebrated. “EVERYTHING! From the warmth and comfort, to Angi and Mike just reminding you, you are a fierce confident GODDESS!”
She walked away feeling empowered and more connected to her self-worth. “Angi and Mike bring to life the beauty that is YOU! That every woman and man should feel in their journey of life.”
A New Kind of Confidence
The impact of the experience didn’t stop at the studio door. Her wife adored the images—“My WIFE LOVED EVERY ONE!!!!” she said with joy—and the session sparked plans for a future couple’s and maternity shoot. The confidence radiated outward, influencing how others saw her and how she carried herself in daily life.
More than a photo session, it became a turning point in how she viewed herself—as empowered, beautiful, and entirely worthy.
