We're looking for diverse women 40 and up to show the world that you are powerful, beautiful, and unapologetically you.
This isn’t a contest or promotion.
It’s an experience designed for women who are ready to show the world—and themselves—that confidence and sensuality have no age limit.
A lot of time and care goes into creating this experience, so participation begins with a short application. This helps us make sure the experience is a good fit for the project and for the women who take part.

A $149 session fee is required to reserve your shoot date and becomes additional print credit at your ordering appointment.
Portrait collections start at $1,599, and most participants invest between $2,000 and $2,500. We want you to have that context before you apply.

Women 40 and over—all body types, all ethnicities, all backgrounds.
Whether you're a professional, creative, entrepreneur, retiree, or mom rediscovering herself, this project celebrates YOU.
To participate, you'll need to be comfortable having at least one image shared publicly in our magazine and exhibition — you choose which one, and online we never use names.
Spots are limited each cycle, and we review every application personally within 48 hours.
Ageless Beauty
We're Mike and Angi Fox — a married couple in our late 50s who have been photographing women in and around Houston together since 2012. We fell in love 40 years ago and still choose to do this work together, which probably tells you something about what it's like to be in the room with us.
We meet so many incredible women who feel like they've become background characters in their own lives. Maybe they've been "Mom" or "Grandma" for so long that being seen as the beautiful, vibrant soul they are feels like a distant memory. But those parts of you that maybe you've put on a shelf? They're still there, just waiting to come alive again.
With Over 40 & Fabulous, we're here to help women see and celebrate themselves — not the edited, apologetic version, but the real one. We believe society's views on beauty are evolving, but there's still a long way to go. This project pushes those boundaries further.
Our studio is in our home in Pearland — the upstairs we converted after our kids grew up and moved out. Small team, consistent faces, no one who doesn't need to be there. What you see in the portfolio is what you get.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I'm nervous? Nearly every participant feels nervous, at least at the start. It doesn't need to go away immediately. What consistently happens is that it fades as the session progresses — we direct every pose from start to finish, so you're never left standing there wondering what to do. As Ms J described it: "As the shoot progressed, I felt more and more comfortable. I was surprised that I was so comfortable by the end."
What if I don't love how I look in photos? Professional lighting and posing direction do significant work. We also do a full retouch pass before your ordering appointment — temporary blemishes, strap marks, position creases — so what you're viewing is finished work, not raw files. During the session, Mike will hand the camera to Angi to show you what's been captured, so you're not waiting until the ordering appointment to get a sense of how things are going. In years of doing this project, we haven't had a participant who didn't find images she loved.
Can I keep my images private? Nothing is shared publicly without a signed release from you — and it's not all or nothing. You control exactly what's eligible to be shared: specific looks, nothing showing nudity, only certain images. The one exception built into the project is the single image you select for the magazine and exhibition. You choose that image. Everything else stays private unless you say otherwise. Online we never use names.
Do you offer payment plans? Yes. Payment plans are available for all portrait collections if you'd like to spread the cost.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready? Apply anyway. The consultation call is a conversation, not a commitment. If it's not the right time, you'll know after talking with us.
