You'll view your portraits at a private appointment after your session. Your $149 session fee becomes additional print credit.

This project celebrates real women—diverse backgrounds, diverse bodies, diverse experiences—showing the world that women over 40 are powerful, beautiful, and unapologetically themselves.

We're in our 50s ourselves. We understand firsthand how bodies and perspectives shift over time, and how each milestone birthday brings a mix of emotions.
We meet women who feel like they've become background characters in their own lives. Maybe they've been "Mom" or "Grandma" for so long that being seen as the beautiful, vibrant soul they are feels like a distant memory.
With Over 40 & Fabulous, we help women see themselves clearly—and celebrate what they see.
We believe society's views on beauty are evolving, but there's still a long way to go. This project pushes those boundaries further, showcasing women over 40 as powerful, beautiful, successful, and unapologetically confident.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is this different from other portrait photography?
This isn't a mini-session or a quick photo experience. We've photographed over 200 women in this project. Over 40 & Fabulous includes professional makeup, a 2+ hour portrait session with expert posing direction throughout, and museum-quality products — heirloom albums, wall art, and printed portraits built to last. The women who invest the most consistently tell us this was one of the best things they've ever done for themselves.
What if I'm nervous about being photographed?
Most participants feel nervous at first. You're not alone. We guide you through every single pose and provide constant direction so you never feel lost. Many women tell us they actually enjoyed the experience more than they expected.
What if I don't like how I look in my photos?
In our years of portrait photography, we've never had a participant who didn't find images she loved. The portraits capture you as you truly are. You'll find images that resonate.
Can I keep my photos completely private?
For the project to be meaningful, we must have at least one image that we can use publicly. You choose which image is shared. Online we never use names, only referring to you as Ms X. You can request certain images remain completely private for your eyes only.
What if I want to lose weight first?
We hear this often. The truth is, there will always be "10 more pounds" or "just one more month." The women who participate as they are, right now, get to celebrate this exact moment in their lives. Your body right now is worthy of celebration.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Flexible payment plans are available for all portrait collections.
